چکیده

Pumpkin is a popular vegetable crop and exhibits broad diversity in fruit shape size. Fruit-related traits are the decisive factors determining consumer acceptance market value of pumpkin cultivar. As result, deciphering genetic basis fruit-related great importance for breeding. To address this problem, F2 population was generated by two Cucurbita moschata inbred lines with contrasting shapes, genotyping sequencing approach used to construct map localize QTLs underlying study. The results showed that high-quality constructed pumpkin, which comprised 2413 bins spanned total length 2252.10 cM an average distance 0.94 cM. Thirty significant moderate or small effects were identified seven traits, including length, diameter, index, weight, flesh thickness, seed cavity size, soluble solids content. Co-locations observed between different demonstrating pleiotropic effect plays important role control traits. provide valuable information further fine mapping related genes breeding programs aim improving quality.

Construction of a high-density genetic map and QTL mapping for pearl quality-related traits in Hyriopsis cumingii

A high-density genetic map is essential for quantitative trait locus (QTL) fine mapping. In this study, 4,508 effective single nucleotide polymorphism markers (detected using specific-locus amplified fragment sequencing) and 475 microsatellites were mapped to 19 linkage groups (LGs) using a family with 157 individuals. The map spanned 2,713 cM, with an average of 259 markers and 79 loci per LG ...

A genome-wide SNP-based genetic map and QTL mapping for agronomic traits in Chinese cabbage

The aim of this work was to construct a high-resolution genetic map for the dissection of complex morphological and agronomic traits in Chinese cabbage (Brassica rapa L. syn. B. campestris). Chinese cabbage, an economically important vegetable, is a good model plant for studies on the evolution of morphologic variation. Herein, two high-generation inbred Chinese cabbage lines, 'Huangxiaoza' and...

A high-density genetic map and growth related QTL mapping in bighead carp (Hypophthalmichthys nobilis)

Growth related traits in fish are controlled by quantitative trait loci (QTL), but no QTL for growth have been detected in bighead carp (Hypophthalmichthys nobilis) due to the lack of high-density genetic map. In this study, an ultra-high density genetic map was constructed with 3,121 SNP markers by sequencing 117 individuals in a F1 family using 2b-RAD technology. The total length of the map w...

Mapping QTL for Seed Germinability under Low Temperature Using a New High-Density Genetic Map of Rice

Mapping major quantitative trait loci (QTL) responsible for rice seed germinability under low temperature (GULT) can provide valuable genetic source for improving cold tolerance in rice breeding. In this study, 124 rice backcross recombinant inbred lines (BRILs) derived from a cross indica cv. Changhui 891 and japonica cv. 02428 were genotyped through re-sequencing technology. A bin map was gen...

A High-Density Genetic Linkage Map for Cucumber (Cucumis sativus L.): Based on Specific Length Amplified Fragment (SLAF) Sequencing and QTL Analysis of Fruit Traits in Cucumber

High-density genetic linkage map plays an important role in genome assembly and quantitative trait loci (QTL) fine mapping. Since the coming of next-generation sequencing, makes the structure of high-density linkage maps much more convenient and practical, which simplifies SNP discovery and high-throughput genotyping. In this research, a high-density linkage map of cucumber was structured using...
